When we hate all of a people because of the doings of a small group of terrorists, the terrorists win.

The site of the crime is known as Ground Zero. For many it is hallowed because of the murder of so many people at the site.

There is no way of turning back to the time before 9-11, but we can still decide what to take away from this.

The clamor and fighting over the plans to build Park51, the Islamic Center downtown, has been hijacked by people who agree with the criminal terrorist and want Islam to be at war with America and our values. They happen all the time.
In fact, there is even Murphy's Law that says that whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and probably at the worst possible time. So why are people surprised by mistakes? Even a pessimist who expects the worst at every turn, when caught in an accident, is at that moment surprised and sees it as evidence of Murphy's Law.

Since U can anticipate that mistakes will happen, U ought to be prepared for them.

However, since by their very nature, mistakes are unexpected, even when U have back up plans B, C, and D, there will be times when U don't know what to do.

This is when to think. Look at the new situation and the new options. Correcting the mistake may be one thing to do, but there might also be some new opportunities created by the mistake. These are oopsortunities. Finding them is a matter of attitude.

Luckily, attitude is one of the few things in life that U can control.

 Amazon.com Widgets
